Total Newbie with some questions

Hi everyone,

My name is Ryan, I live in Sweden and I am researching starting an ecommerce store to sell physical products in the USA. I’m not sure where to start finding about about the legal and tax rules for a business like this.

For example:

• What sort of Business would I need to register in Sweden?
• What sort of tax would I need to register for?
• Do I need to charge VAT on products sold outside of Europe?
• What business structure options are available for an online business?

Would anyone be able to offer this sort of advice? Perhaps someone here has gone down this path before and would be willing to offer some tips?

FYI, my Swedish is not great (I’m Australian), so I would really appreciate any help you can provide in English please, though I can always use Google Translate if you guys prefer Swedish instead 🙂
