About the role
As a Senior Purchaser, you will be responsible for the full purchasing and procurement of the entire ICANIWILL assortment. This includes forecasting sales, maintaining supplier relationships, and managing operational tasks within the department. You will work closely with internal teams like Controlling and Product & Design, you keep control and handle deviations in sales and ensure the right stock levels together with the Purchasing Controller. The position is a part of a smaller Purchasing team where you’ll have the opportunity to be involved and help shape your role. You’ll be responsible for managing daily operations, coaching your colleague, and reporting directly to the CPO.
- In collaboration with Purchasing Controller keep track on the purchasing and procurement
- Maintaining the relationship with factories and suppliers
- Negotiate prices to maintain good margins
- Team lead and responsible for the operational work
- Cross-team collaborations with internal departments like Product & Design and Controlling
- Involved in reporting on budget and inventory strategies
- Responsible for 1 FTE
Your background
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Purchaser or Purchasing Manager, where you have demonstrated leadership skills or taken on team lead responsibilities. You are a numbers person who has proven high analytical and reporting skills, you are comfortable of the whole purchasing process and you enjoy maintaining the relationship with the factories and suppliers. You´re also a sharp negotiator!
Since ICANIWILL is still a young brand characterized by an ”everyone does everything”- culture it is important to have that type of problem solving- and team-spirit attitude. In addition, you need to be a self-starter and have a high level of follow through, structure and accuracy.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant education from University or Yrkeshögskola
- Experience in coaching or leading small teams
- Strong analytical skills and reporting abilities
- Comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
- You are structured, with a good sense of prioritization and problem-solving
- Fluency in swedish and english communication, verbal and written
